Welcome, Creator in Hiding

I’ve been where you are, stuck between a longing to create and a fear of not being “perfect.”

You’ve felt the spark before, haven’t you? The pull to create something that’s entirely, beautifully yours. But somehow, self-doubt sneaks in, telling you it’s not good enough, or worse—that you’re not good enough. I know the cycle: the bursts of inspiration quickly overshadowed by an inner critic who seems determined to keep you small.

I see you. I am you.

Since I was about seven years old, I’ve known that theatre is my “calling.” My place, where I belong. But the path there was long and winding.

I was a typical highly sensitive resilient child, growing up in an unstable environment. In middle school, my career counselor told me I was “too gifted” to waste my time on something as unserious as theatre when I shared my dreams for the future.

In the doomsday cult I grew up in, they said I risked death if I chose to pursue theatre after being accepted into the drama program at Södra Latin. I had to choose between obeying them or living as “lost” in the devil’s world. (Today, I wouldn’t call it a “choice.” It was a threat, and of course, I gave up theatre, conformed, and obeyed. I didn’t dare do otherwise.)

It’s now about 20 years since I found the courage to leave the cult and everything I believed in, but that’s another story entirely.

It took many years before I dared to take my creativity seriously because I lived under the false belief that it was “too late.”

Until one day, I asked myself: “Too late for what — I’m alive, aren’t I?”

I was nearly 40 when I finally embraced my calling and enrolled in an acting program.

Without acting and improv theatre — which for me are sources of play, joy, creativity, and growth — I wouldn’t be where I am today. Free in my creative expression, filled with a joy that theatre brings me and that I can’t even put into words.

That’s why I’m so passionate about helping you dare to take your creative calling (playfully) seriously.

I’m a mother of two and live in Stockholm, Sweden, with my children, my husband, and our two Italian Greyhounds. I’m part of the theatre ensemble Top Dog Improv. I also love painting in acrylics—it’s my favorite way to lose myself in colors and ideas.

Professionally, I’ve spent over 20 years as an Account Manager, Client Director and CEO at advertising agencies, coaching creators, and helping them unlock their potential. Now, I bring that same passion and experience to women like you, guiding you to rediscover your creative power and live a life filled with joy and freedom.
